My relationship with JRA began in 1999 with an offer for Big Tent Revival to play a festival in my hometown of Shallotte, North Carolina. After signing several contracts for Christian music artists as a promoter in North Carolina and Massachusetts, followed by 2.5 years as a youth pastor and worship leader, I answered the call to sit on the other side of the desk as a full-time booking agent for JRA’s SHOUTfest tour in 2007. After the tour ended, I transitioned to agent assistant and then to senior agent which is the position I hold at JRA today.
I'm thankful to work at a place where I can have a small part in what our artists are doing out there on the road. While we agents stay behind a desk most of the day, we work hard in solving problems and paving the way for our artists to share their message with as many people as possible.
I'm Known for...
Getting on a bus for a weekend with an artist at a moment’s notice. I love connecting with, spending time with and ministering to artists. I’ve been nicknamed the office ‘road manager’ for my tendency to jump in and organize company trips.
Outside the Office
I enjoy watching the Boston Red Sox, UNC Basketball, Les Miserables (musical and music, not just the movie) and traveling. I also love to eat out (especially Japanese and seafood). I love spending time with my wife and 2 dogs.
